Butter bisquits whith cocao and ginger




Ingredients
  • 200g flour for all purpose
  • 40g cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 n c grated ginger
  • 250g butter
  • 60g caster sugar
  • brown sugar for sprinkling


Method

Sift the flour with cocoa and cinnamon.
Put the butter in mixer with the powdered sugar until smooth and whitened.
Add in the butter mixture, the flour and cocoa.
Knead the mixture on a floured surface until smooth.
Put the dough between two pieces of greaseproof paper and open it with a rolling pin.
Acquired thickness 1cm.
Use a cookie cutter in any shape you want, (eg star, crescent, heart…) and cut the dough.

Add the biscuits in your oven pan and pierce them with a fork. Leave some space between them because they will rise and pierce with a fork. Sprinkle with brown sugar and leave them in the fridge to rest for about an hour.

Bake for 15 minutes at a griddle…. and as always, let them cool.
