Pancakes

Pancakes




Ingredients

1 cup of flour
1 egg
1 cup of milk
a pinch of salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
half lemon zest



Method

In a bowl mix the solid ingredients, besides baking powder. Whip the egg in another bowl and pour over the mix while stirring. Add the baking powder, pour in the melted butter and lastly pour in the milk. Mix to homogenize and fry in a slightly oiled non-stick skillet. Pour the mush in the skillet. After little blisters appear, turn the pancakes over and leave for about a minute. Our pancakes are cooked and ready to be consumed.

In the photo I have accompanied them with fresh fruit and sweet preserved cherries. In truth you can add anything you like. If you want to turn them into lunch or dinner avoid adding cinnamon and clove.
